When is san francisco pride 2024

This year, we have chosen the theme Building the Block. Just like a strong building rises from individual bricks, our progress comes from each of us contributing our unique talents and experiences. Our Executive Director Rebecca Rolfe is one of the Grand Marshals, which means our contingent will be very early in the parade, and we are so excited about this!

It also means our arrival time is early and that we will have less time waiting before we step off for the parade. With this in mind, we ask that you arrive early, bring positivity and patience — it takes some time to locate groups in the line-up and also a lot of time to move thousands of people through a parade route.

So there will be some waiting time.

Center Pride Shirts: The first people who sign up on Eventbrite and show up on time at our line-up area will receive a t-shirt. T-shirts will be distributed at the Parade meeting point on Sunday morning when you check in. It is not a requirement that you wear the shirt during the parade — you can wear whatever makes you feel great!

Seats are not guaranteed, and will be prioritized for those with accessibility needs. We will follow up with each person who indicates a need for seating when they register. The Parade begins at am at Beale and Market and ends at 8th and Market. For more information or if you have any questions about marching with the Center, feel free to email [email protected].

Tentative arrival time at our assembly area is am. We will share our exact assembly block with all registered attendees once we know our contingent. Do not drive to the parade! Wear comfortable shoes! The route is a little over 1. If you are planning to attend the festival at Civic Center after the parade, please note they do not allow bags into the festival grounds.

Everyone must be substance free during the parade no alcohol, no drugs Watch the video! We ask that everyone watch this 11 minute video. Especially if this is your first time marching, this video is extremely helpful. Watch the video here. Sign-Up on Eventbrite.
